It is hard to
imagine that more than 14 million women may suffer from vulvodynia.
Vulvar pain does not discriminate by age or race. Many women are
never formally diagnosed with vulvodynia and live with pain and
uncertainty. Women who have been diagnosed with the disorder often
begin a long and difficult road to seek out relief from the limited
amount of professionals who are familiar with the various treatment
methodologies. As a result of vulvar pain, women are often challenged
with stressed lives, emotional issues and strained relationships.
Northern New Jersey members of the National
Vulvodynia Association have come together to support each other.
It is through talking and exchanging ideas we can learn about new
treatments, qualified professionals, coping tips and more.
Although we
only meet quarterly, vpainsupport
will be sending out a free monthly e-newsletter. You may receive
these updates by submitting your e-mail address to the sign-up form
on this page. You may unsubscribe at any time.
